Heather Locklear's DUI Case Dismissed

Heather Locklear's DUI charge was dismissed Friday after Locklear pleaded no contest to reckless driving in a Santa Barbara courtroom. Reckless driving is a lesser offense than DUI in California.

Locklear had originally been charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence of prescription drugs in September. Locklear was reportedly stopped by police after she was seen "driving erratically" in a parking lot.

According to MSNBC, as a result of the plea, Locklear must pay a $700 fine, attend a 12-hour drug education program and be placed on three years probation.

Matt Dillon Charged with Speeding in Vermont - 106mph in a Chevy Impala

Actor Matt Dillon was charged with driving at an excessive speed for allegedly going 106 mph on an interstate highway, Vermont State Police said. Dillon, 44, of New York, was pulled over by a trooper on Interstate 91 in Newbury about 10 p.m. EST Tuesday. He was driving a rented 2009 Chevrolet Impala. The posted speed limit is 65 mph, so Dillon was charged criminally under a statute that bans going more than 30 mph above the limit while traveling 60 mph or more.

He is scheduled to appear in Vermont District Court on Jan. 21. If convicted, he could get three months in jail and be fined $300.

Dane Cook's Half-Brother Accused of Embezzling Millions

The Boston Globe is reporting trouble for comedian Dane Cook's finances. According to the Globe, Darryl McCauley, the half-brother of Dane Cook, allegedly embezzled more than $10 million in a series of thefts that included cashing a forged $3 million. Reportedly, a search of McCauley's second home in Maine uncovered $800,000 in cash in a safe.
